Sir Sebastian Campbell is a British billionaire and the main antagonist of the first three Invizimals games. He is an Egyptian history enthusiast, and the owner of the Campbell Castle and the former associate of Kenichi's boss, Campbell is the main antagonist of the first three Invizimals games, and is directly responsible for creating certain types of Dark Invizimals. Campbell also had a hand in the demise of the Alliance.
His main Invizimal is a Bratbat, which he later converts into a Dark Bratbat.
Invizimals[]
Sebastian Campbell was introduced as a very rich man and a friend of Kenichi Nakamura's boss that helped Keni get out of jail after he was mistakenly arrested. Sebastian proceeded to take both Keni and Jazmin Nayar to his castle in England, where he knew they would remain in safety. Sebastian not only gives the player a list of four Invizimals that Keni wanted to catch but also offers an invitation to a battle club composed of some of his refined friends in Berlin. Shortly afterwards, Keni and Jazmin were kidnapped, though Jazmin managed to escape, sustaining a broken arm in the process, with Campbell placing her in Windsor Hospital, where he knew she would be safe.
By reaching out to an old friend, Sebastian learned that a firearms dealer named Axel Kaminsky was behind Keni's kidnapping and seemingly wanted to use Invizimals to some unknown sinister cause. He advised the player to catch as many Invizimals as possible and improve his/her combat skills in order to stand against someone as dangerous as Kaminsky.
Campbell was next seen in Egypt in a tomb, where he found a prophecy about the enlightened one, who he believes has to be the player and advises him to prove him that he is the chosen one. He also reveals that the Egyptian god Ra was not a god like originally believed, but an Invizimal.
Campbell showed up in Kaminsky's secret lair, the Vipers' nest, shortly after Kaminsky was defeated by the player. It is revealed that he was Kaminsky's client and had manipulated everyone to collect all sparks and Invizimals for himself. The player must fight with Campbell and defeat him. After getting defeated, Campbell gets into a struggle with Keni and takes his PSP, which was accumulating energy. The PSP eventually creates a blast of memory so powerful that it affected all PSPs, presumably vaporizing Campbell.
Invizimals: Shadow Zone[]
In the second game, he was revealed to have survived the memory blast and had discovered Invizimals that are composed of dark light, which he dubbed as Dark InviZimals. Keni finds Campbell's secret base of operations in Egypt as he and Professor Michaels find a map of the world with lines that converge into England. By reading a text in Latin, Keni and Michaels deduce Campbell plans to bring the Dark Invizimals to the human world so he could dominate it.
Keni and Professor Dawson track down Campbell to Stonehenge, where he had just summoned a shadow gate for his Dark Invizimals to come. It was revealed that Dawson was corrupted by the Dark Rattleraptor that Keni sent to him for studying, as well as the Dark Flameclaw that the player won for him in the Native American tournament, and he was now under Campbell's total control. The player has to fight Dawson to free him from Campbell's control and then Campbell himself. After the portal was complete, Dark Icelion made his entrance, but to Sebastian's horror, Dark Icelion rebelled against him and dragged Campbell to the Shadow Zone because he believed the man was too much of a threat to the human world. Keni then went with Dark Icelion through the portal, leaving a devastated Dawson behind.
Invizimals: The Lost Tribes[]
In Invizimals: The Lost Tribes, Campbell was seen in a parallel dimension known as The Wave, now adorned in regal garb. Unbeknownst to everyone, Campbell had found and entered the shadow gate before the player did, bypassing Kenichi's gate minions, and when the player reactivated and went through the Shadow Gate to enter The Wave, Campbell was awaiting their arrival, and imprisoned them. Campbell revealed that he had devised new ways to create new Dark Invizimals, and that he would use the player as a means to find Kenichi. Instead of attempting to thwart the player right away, Campbell instead decided to be more merciful, and enslaved the player into creating and fostering new Dark Invizimals for Campbell at his whim. The player defeated Campbell's Dark Invizimal wielding minions in a tournament, and then freed themselves from Campbell's cage.
In the final cutscene, Campbell tracked the player down and found Kenichi's temple. He stormed the temple and summoned his army of Invizimals to emphasize that there was nothing that could stop him from taking control of the shadow gate and ruling the two realms. Kenichi insisted that the Dark Invizimals were not evil until Campbell poisoned their minds and turned them into his tools of destruction. Campbell telekinetically threw Kenichi aside and when he prepared to destroy the so-called "saviour of the Invizimal world", the player summoned Tigershark and Dark Tigershark, much to Campbell's amusement. The player challenges Campbell and beats them in battle. After this, Campbell is defeated for good and is never seen again.
Invizimals: The Resistance[]
At the end of Invizimals: The Resistance, Campbell was revealed to have survived yet again. It is also revealed that he serves an, as of now, unknown organization. He is also the equal to Maximillian Black. Campbell claims to just be a small, insignificant part of it, but the validity of this claim is yet to be determined.
