There are all kinds of dark Invizimals. For example, it was long ago discovered that the Dark Xiong Mao was the spirit of a Chinese shaman. In fact, if you look closely, you will see the face of the shaman in his belly! Thus, the Dark Xiong Mao can use all sorts of Chinese magic attacks, making him a terrible enemy in combat.

Strategy[]
Dark Xiong Mao may have a good attack stat much like the regular Xiong Mao, but it actually favours a defensive role rather than the latter's offensive inclination. Dark Xiong Mao has large life and armour stats to provide great defensive support. Dark Xiong Mao also provides a good stamina and attack stat to give it much more of an offensive presence than most defensive Invizimals. However, like regular Xiong Mao, Dark Xiong Mao suffers greatly from a bad stamina recovery stat, meaning that Xiong Mao can't be nearly as aggressive as one would hope. Therefore, users will have to manage their stamina smartly to avoid low stamina situations. Those that can manage Dark Xiong Mao's stamina will have themselves an Invizimal that has plenty to offer on offense and defence.
