Biography[]
In ancient China, Shenlong was the powerful guardian of China's first emperor while the great wall was being built. The emperor told the builders to put a tomb for him inside for when he died. When he did die his spirit was caught in a jar and kept in the tomb with his body. Three other Invizimals were sent there to protect the emperor's tomb from the outside, while Shenlong, his loyal dragon, guarded it from the inside.
Capture[]
Invizimals Shadow Zone/Lost Tribes: All of the orbs on Shenlong's body must be deactivated. An orb is deactivated when the player hits it with an energy strike. While the player tries to do this, Shenlong will move around the trap, getting faster as it loses orbs, and shooting back at the player. Shenlong is captured when all of its orbs are taken out.
Invizimals Resistance: Win the Shenlong Tournament in the arena.

Strategy[]
Shenlong is an offensive Invizimal that brings defensive properties to the table. Two stats of Shenlong's stand above the rest: its life and its attack. A base 160 life stat makes Shenlong have tons of life, and the base 14 attack allows Shenlong to hit brutally hard. The rest of Shenlong's stats are quite barren though. It has a poor stamina stat, although this is thankfully offset by a good stamina recovery stat, and Shenlong's defensive presence is undermined through poor armour. Although Shenlong may have a large life bar, each hit that lands will take a good chunk off of it. Shenlong requires good stamina management, as Shenlong doesn't have a lot of stamina to initiate a sustained offensive attack, despite a good stamina recovery limiting the times where Shenlong is left unable to defend itself.
Shenlong's Ocean typing is very beneficial on defence, being immune to the extremely powerful Smash Hit vector, which is used extremely often in the late-game tournaments of Invizimals: Shadow Zone.
