The Big Secret is an easter egg and secret area that appears in all PSP Invizimals titles. This easter egg can be performed as soon as the player has access to the world map.
The Big Secret is unlocked by holding select on the global map screen and pressing the following buttons in this order: up, right, down, left.
If The Big Secret is performed correctly, a sound will play, and a congratulatory screen appears to indicate that The Big Secret has been unlocked. Afterwards, a location for The Big Secret appears in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
Purpose[]
The purpose of The Big Secret is to provide an environment in which players can capture secret Invizimals that cannot be obtained otherwise. These Invizimals have a higher base stat total than regular Invizimals, and usually have base stat totals on par with legendary Invizimals. However, they are not nearly as powerful as dragons, fusions, or Dark Invizimals.
How to obtain[]
Invizimals found in The Big Secret need to be found using a special trap. Each Invizimal that appears in The Big Secret has their own specially designed trap that the player needs to use to find them. The Trap is not needed to find these Invizimals, and the Invizimal is instead overlayed on the special trap they each use.
In Invizimals 1, there are no limits on how many Invizimals from The Big Secret that they can acquire. However, in Invizimals: Shadow Zone and Invizimals: The Lost Tribes, a restriction has been put in place. If the player has at least one of a Big Secret Invizimal in their catalogue, the player cannot receive another of that same Invizimal via The Big Secret. However, a player that has received an Invizimal from The Big Secret before and proceeds to lose it can retrieve another of the same Invizimal from The Big Secret once more.
Unless otherwise specified below, all Invizimals from The Big Secret are given to the player at level 9.
